About Cocoa Manna

Cocoa Manna is a bean-to-bar chocolate workshop in the shadow of the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia. Chocolate is our passion, and we have the highest standards for every single ingredient in all of our products - starting with the beans themselves, which we source exclusively from small farms around the world. 

We take a special joy in finding and sharing the world's best small-farm cocoa beans. Cocoa beans are vegan, gluten-free, low fat, low calorie, and packed with powerful antioxidants associated with more energy, a healthier immune system, and stress reduction. And honestly, they just make us personally very happy--and we expect we're not the only ones.

About Our Founder, Karen

Karen built Cocoa Manna on the foundation of a lifetime making, selling, and eating pastries and chocolate. Her journey began in Burbank, California, wound through Neuchatel chocolate shop in Oxford, PA, and has now taken her to a small farm between Culpeper and Sperryville in the Virginia Piedmont. She also helps run the equally amazing local institution Morningside Farm & Nursery with her husband, George.
